Job Role
Based in greater Frankfurt, the successful candidate will be overseeing all Hard Services on one very large production site including setting up of delivery of the services, business planning, operational strategy, budgets, creating & developing client relationships at a senior level and managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Delivery and management of hard FM services
- Managing a team of approx. 70 people working on shifts
- Service delivery – operational management of self delivery and sub-contracted service delivery teams, ensuring quality of services provided are continually improved and exceed customer expectations
- Integration Management – ensure service levels and performance measures are achieved through robust management
- Financial management – budget responsibility and financial reporting, ensuring account meets the agreed profitability (Operational budget of circa 8 million Euros)
- Risk management – minimise risk and maintain profitability
- Relationship management – client, suppliers and team relations
- Strategic and technical support – general advice to customers, peers and team
- Business development – identify and pursue opportunities
- Customer service – maintain excellent customer service at all times
- Determine business plan and operational strategy for account and ensure implementation
Skills / Experience Required
- You will be fluent in German
- You will come from a technical background (e.g. university level engineering)
- Demonstrate operational & strategic ability in the management of client accounts
- Experience of service delivery through self-performance and/or via contractors or 3rd party suppliers
- Proven ability to set & manage a P&L account and budget
- Experience of recruiting, managing, developing & retaining a team and individuals
- Experience of managing contractors & third party suppliers
- The ability to develop strong working relationships with clients at all levels
- Ability to increase contract value through identification of business opportunities
