Space Planning
We are continually seeking Permanent and Contractor candidates to fill a variety of Space Planning positions, from Junior Apprentice level to Senior Planner level.
We regularly have vacancies with a broad range of companies involved in delivering Architectural, Facilities Management and Interior Design Services throughout the UK.

Enclosed is a basic summary of the core skills we seek in Junior - Middle Level and experienced Space Planner applications.

Junior Level Space Planner (JL1)
Core Skills:
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (Minimum 2 years experience)
- Ability to accurately undertake site surveys, interpret and implement a client brief
- Able to transpose surveys into accurate CAD drawings
- Good understanding of space planning exercise by liaison with Relationship Managers and clients
- Thorough knowledge of furniture products
- Familiarity with MS Office products (PowerPoint specifically)
- Able to work on own initiative on client site
- Able to prioritise
Mid-Level Space Planner (MK1)
Core Skills
All of the above skills, together with:
- Possess a relevant qualification (e.g. Interior Design), or have a Minimum of 3 years extensive Space planning experience
- Undertake accommodation studies, create reports and make recommendations
- Demonstrate a creative and innovative flair
- Be fully capable of undertaking small design projects on own initiative
- Have a sound knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint
- Be capable of producing high quality presentation material
- Possess the confidence to present to clients
- Remain aware of latest trends in the Industry
- Have a thorough knowledge of Interior Design products and services
- Produce detailed drawings that can be passed without referral by the Senior Designer
- Occasionally show involvement in project implementation and project management
- Liaise with other contractors
Senior Space Planner (SP1)
Core Skills
All of the above skills, together with:
- Minimum of five years experience
- Ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously, completing them on time and within budgeted hours for the particular project
- Supervise other staff and monitor the progress (within work and budget constraints)
- Share knowledge
- Proactively develop appropriate knowledge, at work and via self-development initiatives
- Promote the employment company externally
