Key Description:

Be fully responsible for carrying out all commercial functions, processes and reporting, expected of a suitably experienced Quantity Surveyor. The candidate will be expected to take commercial ownership of all projects from contract award until payment of final retention.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Contract set-up processes (including credit insurance applications)
Submit and agree interim valuations
Collate, submit, negotiate and agree Final Accounts
Value, negotiate and agree variations and claims
Invoicing and payment progressing
Weekly cashflow forecasts
Track monthly sales movement
Formal Commercial reporting
Contract transfers
Monitor cost movement
Submit contract notices

Qualifications and Experience:

Experienced individual with competent surveying / commercial background
Ability to work on their own initiative
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise accordingly
Flexible approach to all work activities
Good communication skills
Good numerical skills
Competent IT skills
Team Player
Knowledge of Management Information Systems
