Database Implementation
We are constantly seeking Candidates who posses a knowledge of any leading database software packages. Vacancies range from Database Implementation Consultants to Implementation Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery and/or installation of desktop/web software, including:
- Planning
- Liaising with client representatives
- Software configuration
- Implementation set up
- Administrator “getting started” training
- Initial user-support
- Management of associated documentation including project plans, processes and procedures manuals, guidance materials etc. and for providing advice to sales team on installation issues and processes
Key Skills:
- Client installs/upgrades of Software (SQL relational database) on-site or via remote connection
- Client on-site troubleshooting
- Involvement in co-ordination (and implementation) of system data manipulation/loading from agreed sources with clients
- Reporting to Project Management regarding implementations as part of larger consultancy service
- Reporting of bug/defects to the development team and quality control of technical documentations
Key Attributes:
- Reliability and ability to travel
- Clean driving record and current drivers licence
- Capable of working closely with others as part of a small team, but primarily a self-starter
- Attention to detail and focus on quality outputs
- Must be capable of fulfilling client facing role
- Have a mature manner and committed approach to collective success
